Just a quick follow up to our last meeting. Extra big thanks to Greg, Holly and Christophe for coming out! We had standing room only on campus (60+) and the online Connect room maxed out at about 36 people. Great turn out for a great meeting. For those of you on the Connect session I don't have to point out that we had a few audio glitches here and there. We're in the process of pulling the actual video footage that was shot and we'll see what we can pull together between it and the archived Connect session. (Note to self: Just go buy a few more audio cables, connectors, etc to avoid this in the future).

There were a lot of open source projects thrown out during the presentations. I thought I'd put together a list of links of the ones I remember being brought up:
Great meeting. Thanks for coming out. We'll post our next meeting in the next few days

Tuesday the 8th of May we'll be hosting Christophe Coenraets, Holly Schinsky and Greg Wilson (Adobe Developer Evangelists) as they discuss using MVC with JavaScript to build mobile applications using Phone Gap. This will not be the typical demos, but a deep dive into solving problems using HTML/CSS/JS.
Description: HTML has emerged as a powerful alternative to "native" to enable cross-platform mobile application development. But how do you build large, complex, and native-like mobile apps using HTML, JavaScript and CSS? This session covers modern strategies to build large JavaScript projects using JavaScript MVC frameworks, and how to use PhoneGap to leverage the native capabilities of your device in JavaScript and to package your HTML application as a native app for distribution through the different app stores.
We haven't met in a few months. This is the beginning of us getting back into effect. This has all the makings of a great user group meeting. Don't miss this one!
